Five days of fencing this winter break.
Campers learn footwork, blade work and tactics, fence their first real bouts, and finish the week with a tournament that parents are invited to watch. No experience needed.
The week
Every day runs 10am to 3pm with a lunch break. Groups are set by age and experience, so a first-timer and a club fencer each get the right work.
On guard
Safety, etiquette, the on-guard position and footwork.
Blade work
Attacks and parries — the first real exchanges.
First bouts
Distance and timing, then first controlled bouts.
Tactics
Thinking one move ahead; team games and practice bouts.
The tournament
Camp tournament with parents watching. Certificates for every fencer.
Price
One price for the full five days. Only 30 places.
Register by November 30.
From December 1, while places last.

Questions parents ask
Is fencing safe?
Yes. Campers wear full protective gear — mask, jacket and glove — and every bout is coached and supervised.
My child has never fenced.
Most campers are beginners. Groups are organised by age and experience, so nobody is thrown in at the deep end.
What age is right?
Seven and up. Older beginners and teens are welcome too.
